The IFA 2022 Annual Convention took place at the San Diego Convention Center in San Diego, CA from February 26 – March 01, 2022

IFA’s Annual Convention is franchising’s biggest event for business development and personal growth. Whether you’re a franchising veteran or just starting out, there are sessions designed for everyone. This is your chance to network and chart the future of the industry.

After attending the International Franchise Association’s 2022 Annual Convention in San Diego, I left feeling excited, invigorated, refreshed, and tired… in a good way. The IFA Annual Convention brings together the franchising community in an amazing way – the event was packed with incredible education sessions, electrifying speakers, new initiatives, and of course, lots of time for networking, connecting, and collaborating.

My 3 takeaways from this event were:

  1. This is an event that should be a priority for anyone in franchising – whether you are a franchisee, an emerging or mature franchisor, a supplier or a vendor – add this to your calendar and join IFA as a member to support the massive work they are doing on behalf of franchising. The value I took home from this event will last far beyond the 5 days in San Diego.
  2. Great content, topics, and speakers – we were honored to host the Annual Leadership Conference lunch and hear from fellow franchisors My Salon Suite, Au Bon Pain, and NextHome, Inc. about Modern Leadership in today’s world. We can create an amazing culture and teams even as everything around us is changing so rapidly.
  3. There has never been a better time to be in franchising – so many individuals out there are searching for something more, they are tired of their current career/job. Franchising can be the vehicle that helps these people to realize their Income Lifestyle Wealth and Equity goals.

Going forward, I am determined to do my part to enhance, protect, and promote franchising.
